Why do I get an invalid username/password error when installing to my Motorola Q?

Some Motorola Q users have reported that when they install Epocrates software to their device, they see a message saying that their Epocrates username and password are invalid, so they are unable to complete installation.
Some users have been able to correct this condition by changing their Epocrates username, password, or both. Then, reinstall with the new username and password.
Also, be sure that word complete or text prediction is turned off on your device.
