  Here's how you can check the version of the sync software you use, depending on your handheld and computer types.






If you have a Macintosh computer, open iTunes and select About iTunes from the iTunes menu.



If you have a Windows computer, open iTunes and select About iTunes from the Help menu.








Palm/Windows

Open the Palm Desktop on your computer and select About Palm Desktop from the Help menu. Click on the Version button and note the versions for Palm.exe and HotSync.exe.








Palm/Macintosh

Open the Palm Desktop software on your computer and select About Palm Desktop from the Palm Desktop menu. Then, select Conduit Settings from the HotSync menu. From the HotSync Manager menu, select About HotSync Manager.








Windows Mobile (Pocket PC)

If your computer has Windows 2000 or Windows XP, open Microsoft ActiveSync on your computer and select About Microsoft ActiveSync from the Help menu.



If your computer has Windows Vista, open Windows Mobile Device Center on your computer and select About Windows Mobile Device Center from the blue (?) menu, just below the red [X] in the top right cornter
