  How To Transfer Your Epocrates Software License

  I have a new handheld with a different operating system. How do I transfer my Epocrates subscription to the new platform?
  Answer
  We have recently introduced a link on your My Account page that allows you to transfer your license from one platform to another.

If you do not see the option to transfer your license or your new handheld type is not listed, please contact Epocrates support.

We allow one license transfer within a 12 month period. If you have already transferred your license and wish to make further changes, please contact Epocrates support.

Users of our Rx free product do not need to transfer their licenses and can download the desired version of our software at any time.

The license transfer process will differ, depending on your subscription.








Rx Pro, Essentials

Here's how you can transfer your Essentials subscription:
  1. Click on the My Account link in the top right corner of the Epocrates home page.
  2. Log in with your Epocrates username and password.
  3. Click on the word Transfer next to "Switched devices recently?"
  4. Mark the circle next to the platform of your choice.
  5. Click the Transfer button.
  6. Click to confirm the transfer or click Cancel if you are not ready to perform the transfer.
  7. Proceed to the Begin Download button to download and save the new file to your computer desktop.







Essentials Deluxe

Here's how you can transfer your Essentials Deluxe subscription:
  1. Click on the My Account link in the top right corner of the Epocrates home page.
  2. Log in with your Epocrates username and password.
  3. Click on the PPC to Palm or Palm to PPC next to "Switched devices recently?"
  4. Click the Transfer button.
  5. Click to confirm the transfer or click Cancel if you are not ready to perform the transfer.
  6. Proceed to the Begin Download button to download and save the new file to your computer desktop.
