A small percentage of our Mac users have reported an error when reinstalling the latest version of Epocrates. The error appears on the handheld as "AlarmMgr" and sometimes "Fatal Error".
We have several recommended solutions for this error.
- Confirm that you are using the most recent version of the Palm Desktop software for Mac.
- Uninstall Epocrates files from your Palm and your Mac, then reinstall using the EpocratesMac file that you downloaded from our website

- Open the Delete menu on the Palm device. Locate and delete DocAlert.
If you have tried the suggested solutions and you are still receiving the error, please note that you can experience this error and continue to use the software on your handheld. If you are unable to use the software, please contact support directly.
