  Fatal Error/Alert/Exception (Palm)
  Question
When I open Epocrates on my Palm, I receive a fatal error. How do I fix this?
  Answer
A fatal error when opening Epocrates typically indicates one of our database files have become corrupt.

HotSyncing again might restore functionality.  If not, uninstalling and reinstalling our application should correct the problem.

Other Fatal Error messages relate to not enough free memory on your handheld for a complete installation or your handheld does not use the correct Palm OS version.  Please verify you meet our minimum system requirements by returning to our web site, click Support, and then click System Requirements by your Epocrates application.

Before deleting Epocrates, please see this FAQ for instructions to preserve any notes you might have entered into Epocrates.

Then, please see this FAQ for instructions to uninstall and reinstall Epocrates.
