  This FAQ article answers the following questions.
  • Epocrates stalls after I enter my username and password on my iPhone/iPod touch. What can I do?
  • How can I fix the "Unable to Verify username and password. Check your signal strength and try again" error?
  Answer
  We have had reports from some of our users that Epocrates hangs after entering their username and password to complete the installation.

Please close Epocrates on your device and try it again.

If you encounter the "Unable to Verify username and password. Check your signal strength and try again" error message, please reset your device's network connection settings.
  1. Go to the Settings menu on your iPhone or iPod Touch.
  2. Select the General option.
  3. Select Reset.
  4. Select Reset Network Settings.

Also, if you are in an area where you can get a WiFi signal, please enable your device's WiFi connection.
  1. Go to the Settings menu on your iPhone or iPod Touch.
  2. Next, select "Wi-Fi" and set it to "Wi-Fi On."

Then, try Epocrates again.
