If you are trying to register using a BlackBerry, Palm, or Windows Mobile handheld, this is the cause of the problem. Please use a desktop or laptop computer to complete the registration process.
iPhone and iPod touch users should be able to complete the registration process from their devices.

Why won't the web site registration process complete?
The registration process keeps taking me back to the begining. Why?
There are 4 known causes for the web site registration process to not finish, and instead loop back to its begining.
- McAfee on Windows Vista is interfering with the Epocrates registration process.
- Javascript is not enabled in your web browser.
- You are trying to register from a BlackBerry, Palm, or Windows Mobile handheld.
- Your web browser is not properly configured to accept cookies.
McAfee on Windows Vista is interfering with the Epocrates registration process.
If your computer has Windows Vista and you have McAfee installed, it will be necessary to complete the following process to properly access the Epocrates web site.
- In McAfee, disable the phishing filter.
- After disabling McAfee, please close out of any open Internet Explorer windows on the computer. Not just the tabs, but all Internet Explorer windows.
- Re-open Internet Explorer with McAfee disabled.
- Attempt the Epocrates registration process again.
Javascript is not enabled in your web browser.
Javascript must be enabled in your web browser in order to make full use of the Epocrates web site. Please select your web browser from the following options.
Internet Explorer (version 6 or 7)
- From the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, select Internet Options.

- On the Security tab, click on the Custom level button.

- Scroll down to the Scripting section, and be sure to select Enable under Active scripting and Scripting of Java applets.

- Click the OK button.
- Click Apply and then click OK.
- Close Internet Explorer, open it again, and retry the Epocrates registration process.
Mozilla Firefox
- From the Tools menu in Firefox, select Options.

- Click on Content and be sure that both Enable JavaScript and Enable Java are checked.

- Close Firefox, open it again, and retry the Epocrates registration process.
Your web browser is not properly configured to accept cookies.
